Apply it to wet or very damp hair, immediately after washing and conditioning: distribute it section by section or using the scrunch technique, squeezing the hair from the bottom up. Then, let it air dry or use a diffuser at a moderate temperature, without touching the curls too much until they are dry. If a slight cast forms, simply squeeze gently to soften it.
