Developed to be used as a complete system, stylists are now able to offer lightening and hair color services without sacrificing the integrity of the client's hair, while offering scalp protection at the same time. The CHI BOND+ Lightening System includes Bleach & Shine together with Bond & Seal, featuring natural bond builders to help strengthen and protect bonds before, during, and after coloring or lightening services. Ideal for color correction processes and extreme level lifting. Hair color goals are achieved, and the hair and scalp are protected and left in better condition than before the process.

Directions for use

1. Mix the desired amount of CHI BLEACH & SHINE Lightener with CHI Color Generator to obtain the desired consistency in ratios from 1:1.5 to 1:2.5. For retouch or full head applications, use 10 or 20 volume CHI Color Generator. For on-scalp lightening, use 10, 20, 30, or 40 volume. Always apply no closer than 1/8" from the scalp. Avoid contact with skin.

2. Timing: Do not wrap hair tightly. Lift hair during processing to allow air circulation and even oxidation. Check frequently, at least every 3-5 minutes until desired results are achieved. Processing time depends on the degree of lightening and the desired condition of the hair. Never leave the product on the hair for more than 50 minutes for total processing time. When working with heat, never process for more than 15 minutes. Processing time under heat will be determined by the hair structure and condition.

3. Rinsing: Rinse completely with warm water and shampoo thoroughly to remove any chemical residue. Spray hair from roots to ends with CHI BOND & SEAL to balance the hair's pH and seal the cuticle.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS: Always perform a preliminary test before use. Use only on a low heat setting.

Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not use on hair in poor condition. Do not use on eyelashes or eyebrows; doing so may cause blindness. Never shampoo before lightening. Do not apply if the scalp has open cuts, abrasions, or abnormal conditions. Wear gloves. Do not use a metal mixing bowl or application tools. Avoid contact with skin or scalp. If using a dryer with this product, never set the dryer to anything other than a low temperature setting, as serious burns could occur if using a setting other than low temperature.
